Super Squares Sunday 2010

High Lights!

WARRILL CREEK open day was one that we were very pleased with.  Around 40 people attending throughout the day.  After a week of welcome rain the day was fine until the afternoon when down came the rain again.

We had inquires about the breed with focus on the meat and raising successful steers.  Focus was on 'Cracker' who was painted into the different cuts of meat, which was a great viewing point and talking point, as well as an instructional aid and a lot of fun.

We had Square Meater steak tasting and a Square Meater Sausage Sizzle which was ENJOYED BY ALL.

There was talks on dangerous weeds and soil testing and fertilizing, and on pasture management and cell feeding.

The day attracted people from established studs as well as newcomers and people looking at establishing a stud or commercial breeding enterprise.

Please enjoy the photos below and remember if you have any questions or queries, feel free to contact us and we will be happy to Steer you in the Right Direction.
